High Prairie, Alberta – High Prairie School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Shelley Binstead as the Manager of Finance and Krista Hauffe as the Manager of Human Resources.

Shelley will be assuming the role from Jody Frowley, current Assistant Secretary Treasurer who will be taking over the Secretary Treasurer position when current Secretary Treasurer Raymonde Lussier retires this August. Shelley is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant of British Columbia and additionally has a Bachelor of Psychology. She has been working with West Fraser Mills in High Prairie as the Divisional Controller. Previous to that, Shelley has successfully held a number of positions working closely in finance and payroll.

Krista Hauffe will be assuming the Manager of Human Resources portfolio from Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Treva Emter whose role as Assistant Superintendent will shift in its capacity to focus on student outcomes. Krista is completing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and has a Diploma of Business Administration in Human Resources Management, both through the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She has a number of years of experience in human resources as well as an equal number of years as a manager at various locations.

High Prairie School Division would like to welcome both of these skilled candidates to their new roles.
