The safety and well-being of students, their families, and HPSD staff come first. Families may choose to have their children remain at home due to COVID concerns while others will return to in-person classes with cohorts and significant health and safety measures. HPSD will ensure continuity of learning through rich, meaningful, and appropriate learning experiences that are responsive to the needs of our learners and our communities across the division. Flexible options are available to families as they analyze the information and determine which option is best for their child at a certain time of year.

All students registered with HPSD will be provided with technology, as needed, for their programming. This will also allow for the flexibility needed as circumstances change and students learn from home, or return to school, or are home for short periods of isolation.
